Cub Uptown on Lagoon Avenue is looking for dedicated individuals to fill part-time positions in the bakery! As a team member at Cub, you will provide prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service by exhibiting caring, concern, and patience in all customer interactions and treating customers as the most important people in the store. This position requires weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service by exhibiting caring, concern and patience in all customer interactions.
• Smile and greet customers in a friendly manner, whether the encounter takes place in the employee's designated department or elsewhere in the store.
• Answer the department telephone promptly when called upon, and provide friendly, helpful service to customers who call.
• Prepare batter by mixing proper ingredients and ensuring proper consistency.
• Fry batter ensuring fryers are consistently clean and filtered, and fill hopper with batter.
• Finish fried products by mixing icing, frosting, and adding flavoring when appropriate.
• Follow all store and department policies and procedures.
• Rotate and stock finished fried products ensuring proper product availability for maximum sales.
• Assist customers with questions or requests.
• Assist in wrapping or bagging product.

Requirements

• Must be 16 years of age and older.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; write identifying information; request supplies verbally or in writing.
• Ability to work shifts varying in length and time, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ongoing customer interaction, providing prompt, courteous, and accurate service.
• Good judgment is required as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.
• Physical requirements include lifting/carrying 15 to 50 lbs., pushing/pulling 100 to 300 lbs., and standing.
