Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve beverages to customers.
- Assist with various retail store responsibilities, including taking customer orders and handling cash transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the coffee shop, including regular cleaning of equipment.
- Ensure inventory levels are stocked and communicate needs to the manager for ordering.
- Market merchandise by following advertising and display plans.
- Build daily operational procedures with efficiency and due diligence.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions using a point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Greet customers and actively listen to their needs.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older (minors must comply with work regulations).
- One year of work experience preferred.
- Background in delivering customer service.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Reliable transportation to get to work.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for long periods.
