About the position
The Part Time Bartender at DoubleTree by Hilton Raleigh Midtown is responsible for providing exceptional service to guests by preparing and serving high-quality beverages. This role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring guest satisfaction in the Food and Beverage department.
Responsibilities
- Open and close the bar
- Make and serve drinks
- Clean tables and bar area
- Maintain the storage room for alcohol and keep inventory levels
- Restock items as necessary
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinks
- Display knowledge of all menu items, contents, and preparation methods
- Be knowledgeable of hotel property and amenities
Requirements
- Previous bartending or training required
- Must be 21 years of age
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Strong work ethic and a desire to succeed
- Knowledge of the Micros operating system is a plus
- Working knowledge of beer, wine, liquor, and common drink recipes
- Ability to lift, pull, and push moderate weight (up to 40lbs)
- Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time
- Clean background check and reliable transportation
- Excellent guest service and communication skills
