About the position

The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) at San Gabriel/Pomona Regional Center is a part-time role responsible for monitoring and providing behavioral intervention services for individuals with developmental disabilities. The BCBA collaborates with facility staff to ensure the implementation of individualized behavioral service plans (IBSP) and conducts assessments to track progress towards behavioral goals. This position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team to support individuals across various settings.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical expertise and consultation on behavioral health treatments.
  • Conduct situational, needs, and/or functional assessments.
  • Utilize evidence-based direct or indirect assessment tools to measure independence, skills, behavior motivators, etc.
  • Provide information and guidance during Interdisciplinary Team meetings regarding behavioral interventions.
  • Review and provide clinical feedback on behavioral plans before and after implementation.
  • Disseminate information to staff, community, and vendor providers regarding clinical principles and evidence-based practices.
  • Work with regional center staff and service providers to ensure quality services.
  • Participate in team conferences and review assessments and intervention plans completed by other providers/agencies.
  • Provide resources and referral information to individuals and/or their representatives when appropriate.
  • May provide training, feedback, and clinical consultation at the individual's residence or Day Program.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Psychology, Special Education, or related field to behavioral analysis.
  • Board Certification in Behavioral Analysis.
  • 2+ years' experience in providing behavioral management services with individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Experience working in and developing ABA programs for individuals of all ages.
  • Experience implementing ABA-based treatment programs.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and complex behavioral needs.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of psychotropic medication.
  • Experience in comprehensive services to individuals with developmental disabilities who have a forensic background.
