About the position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, managing accounts, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. QuickBooks experience is a must.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and payment processing.
  • Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly.
  • Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
  • Assist with budget preparation and forecasting.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
  • Manage payroll processing and ensure timely payments.
  • Provide support during audits and tax preparation.
  • Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role, preferably with small to medium-sized businesses.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks (QuickBooks Online experience is a plus).
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., QuickBooks Certified User, CPA) are a plus.
