About the position

The Part-Time Bookkeeper at Liv Design Collective is responsible for managing financial transactions, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role involves working with accounts payable and receivable, reconciling accounts, and assisting with payroll and tax-related tasks. The position is hybrid, requiring occasional in-office meetings in Murray, UT.

Responsibilities

  • Enter bills and make timely payments to vendors and other payments due.
  • Create invoices, receive payments, and pursue collections for accounts receivable.
  • Categorize transactions and reconcile accounts to close the books monthly.
  • Maintain a daily/weekly/monthly cash log and cash flow forecast.
  • Prepare and file financial documents.
  • Process payroll and track payroll data.
  • Assist with tax payments and returns.
  • Help create budgets, financial forecasts, and monthly reports.
  • Maintain accurate data across multiple software platforms.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of bookkeeping experience.
  • Data entry skills.
  • Experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO) preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, specifically Excel.

Nice-to-haves

  • Tax and audit experience preferred, but not required.
