About the position

This position involves promoting sales by introducing Meijer shoppers to food and beverage products through sampling. It is a part-time, independent role that allows for direct interaction with customers, enhancing their shopping experience by showcasing new products.

Responsibilities

• Promote sales by preparing and introducing food and beverage products to shoppers through sampling.
• Interact with shoppers to provide product information and enhance their shopping experience.
• Record work activities using a smartphone or tablet after each shift.
• Prepare and cook food samples as needed for distribution in-store.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Available at least two days from Friday through Sunday, with Saturdays being mandatory.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs comfortably.
• Ability to stand for 4-6 hours while distributing samples in-store.
• Reliable transportation to shifts at a Meijer location.
