About the position

As a Part Time Brand Ambassador at Amazon Fresh, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the shopping experience for customers by promoting food and beverage products through sampling. This position is designed for individuals who enjoy interacting with people and are enthusiastic about introducing new products to shoppers. You will be responsible for preparing and presenting samples to customers, which not only helps in driving sales but also enriches the overall shopping experience at Amazon Fresh. This role is part of a larger team dedicated to connecting consumers with products that enhance their lives, and you will be supported by a network of over 65,000 teammates across various locations. In this dynamic retail environment, you will have the opportunity to work flexible shifts, typically ranging from 10 am to 2 pm or 3 pm to 7 pm, Thursday through Monday. The position requires physical stamina, as you will be on your feet for extended periods, moving, bending, and lifting items up to 50 lbs. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work area, which includes preparing and cooking samples as well as cleaning up afterward. Responsibilities

• Promote sales by preparing and introducing food and beverage products to Amazon Fresh shoppers through sampling.
• Engage with customers in a friendly and enthusiastic manner to enhance their shopping experience.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including preparing, cooking, and cleaning equipment used for sampling.
• Record work activities using a smartphone or tablet after each shift.
• Lift and move products as needed, ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Availability for at least 2 shifts per week, typically 10 am - 2 pm or 3 pm - 7 pm Thursday through Monday.
• Ability to perform physical work, including moving, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable preparing, cooking, and cleaning work area and equipment.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with customers and management.
