About the position

In this role, you will promote sales by preparing and introducing Whole Foods Market shoppers to food and beverage products through sampling. This exciting role in the retail industry allows you to interact with shoppers and introduce them to new products. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment for customers, ensuring they have a positive experience while sampling various offerings. Your role will involve not only the preparation and distribution of samples but also engaging with customers to provide information about the products and encourage purchases. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a dynamic environment and have a passion for food and customer service. The job requires you to be available for at least three shifts per week, with typical shift times being from 10 am to 2 pm or 3 pm to 7 pm, any day of the week. You will be expected to perform physical tasks such as moving, bending, and standing for extended periods, as well as lifting items up to 50 lbs. Responsibilities

• Promote sales by preparing and introducing food and beverage products to shoppers through sampling.
• Engage with customers to provide information about products and encourage purchases.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including preparing, cooking, and cleaning equipment.
• Record work activities using a smartphone or tablet after each shift.
• Ensure a positive customer experience by being friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Available for at least 3 shifts per week.
• Ability to perform physical work, including moving, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable standing for 4-6 hours while distributing samples in-store.
• Ability to prepare, cook, and clean work area and equipment.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with customers and management.
