About the position

As a Brand Representative, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable shopping experience for our guests. This position is part-time and requires a commitment to providing exceptional customer service while contributing to the overall success of the retail business. You will be responsible for welcoming guests, understanding their needs, and assisting them in finding the right merchandise. Your ability to achieve personal sales goals and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling will be crucial in enhancing the guest's shopping experience and driving sales. In addition to sales responsibilities, you will work collaboratively with your team to maintain store standards and ensure a visually appealing shopping environment. This includes keeping shelves stocked, organized, and clean, as well as processing transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale system. You will also assist with inventory management tasks, such as receiving shipments and conducting inventory counts, while adhering to company policies and safety protocols. The physical demands of this position include extensive periods of standing and walking, frequent bending and lifting of items up to 25 lbs, and the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members. Responsibilities

  • Welcome every guest with a smile and determine their needs.
  • Assist guests in finding the right merchandise and offer styling recommendations.
  • Achieve personal sales goals and identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve sales goals and maintain store standards.
  • Maintain product knowledge, including features, benefits, and pricing of merchandise.
  • Ensure shelves and displays are stocked, organized, and visually appealing.
  • Keep the store clean, neat, and well-maintained.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently using a point-of-sale system.
  • Assist with inventory management tasks such as receiving shipments and conducting inventory counts.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and guidelines, including safety protocols.
  • Process returns and exchanges according to company policy, ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Report to work as scheduled and remain flexible to the needs of the business.

Requirements

  • Entry-level sales experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Basic understanding of retail operations and sales techniques.
  • Willingness to learn about product offerings and maintain product knowledge.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience in retail or customer service roles.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and cash handling.
