About the position

As a Part-Time Business Office Clerk at Princeton Medical Group, you will play a vital role in supporting our clinical operations across various medical specialties. This position is designed for individuals who are looking to contribute to a dynamic team in a medical office setting. Your primary responsibilities will include managing fee tickets, which involves collecting, sorting, and filing these documents efficiently. You will be responsible for obtaining fee tickets from all three offices, sorting them by date, and ensuring they are filed logically for easy reference. Additionally, you will handle the copying and distribution of Explanations of Benefits (EOBs) as requested by Customer Service, Third Party Specialists, and Supervisors. In this role, you will also be tasked with locating and pulling specific fee tickets from previously sorted and filed documents, which may require navigating various storage areas across two floors of the building. You will be responsible for filing deposit tickets and may need to move boxes of filed fee tickets and deposit tickets between floors as necessary. This position requires a commitment of up to 24 hours per week, providing flexibility while ensuring that our office operations run smoothly. Responsibilities

  • Collect, sort, and file fee tickets from all three offices.
  • Sort high volume of fee tickets by date and file them logically for easy reference.
  • Copy and distribute Explanations of Benefits (EOBs) as requested by Customer Service, Third Party Specialists, and Supervisors.
  • Locate, pull, and copy requested fee tickets from previously sorted and filed documents.
  • File deposit tickets in boxes and manage their organization.
  • Move boxes of filed fee tickets and deposit tickets between floors as needed.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Pleasant attitude and clear speaking voice essential.
  • Neat, appropriate appearance.
  • Must be able to lift and move boxes weighing approximately 25 pounds.
  • Ability to analyze specific information needed by request.
