About the position

The Career Coach (Part-Time) at RVCC is responsible for providing career guidance to students, helping them develop essential skills for their career advancement. This role focuses on equipping students with the tools and knowledge necessary to achieve their career goals, including resume writing, interview preparation, and personal branding.

Responsibilities

• Assist students in developing resumes and cover letters.
• Provide guidance on interview techniques and preparation.
• Facilitate workshops on LinkedIn and social capital.
• Educate students on workplace professionalism and industry expectations.
• Support students in identifying their work-related strengths, skills, interests, and values.
• Help students create actionable career plans.

Requirements

• Experience in career coaching or related field.
• Strong knowledge of resume writing and interview preparation techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to facilitate workshops and group sessions.
