About the position

The Team Member at JOANN is responsible for delivering a premium customer experience by inspiring creativity and making JOANN a happy place for customers. This role involves driving sales through product knowledge, innovative merchandising, and ensuring counter accuracy while contributing positively to the store environment through customer interactions.

Responsibilities

• Greets every customer and uses the F.A.S.T. service model to meet their needs.
• Processes customer transactions efficiently and professionally at the cutting counter and cash register.
• Engages in friendly conversation with customers about their projects while serving them.
• Stocks shelves accurately according to planogram and maintains high productivity.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization on the sales floor by recovering shelves and cleaning spills.
• Invites customers to participate in store activities and events.
• Proactively drives sales through product knowledge and building strong customer relationships.
• Assists other Team Members with tasks to exceed expectations set by Store Management.
• Trains new Team Members on register operations, cutting fabric, and customer service.

Requirements

• No minimum education requirement; High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• No experience required; 1-3 years of experience in a customer-centric environment preferred.
