About the position

Fun-damentals Learning Center is seeking a part-time Childcare Provider to work in a nurturing environment that promotes children's growth and development across various domains. The role involves supervising children, maintaining a safe environment, and engaging them in developmentally appropriate activities. The position is part-time, with hours from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe secure environment for all children
• Provide proper supervision of all children in your group
• Maintain a cooperative working relationship with other personnel
• Ensure the health and well-being of each child under your supervision
• Assist children according to their developmental abilities with eating during meals
• Assist children according to their developmental abilities with toileting and personal self-help skills
• Record daily information and attendance for all students
• Greet and talk to parents and children upon arrival and departure
• Play with and nurture children by providing developmentally appropriate activities and toys
• Keep the classroom and equipment clean and in good repair
• Perform other duties as assigned by the director or her designee

Requirements

• Prior childcare experience (1 year preferred)
• Confidence and professionalism
• Dependability
