About the position

The Part Time Cleaner at Bradlink LLC is responsible for performing a variety of custodial duties to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the office environment. This role requires adherence to established standards and procedures, ensuring that all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and wash floors and other surfaces inside buildings.
• Vacuum rugs in offices and public areas, spot clean daily, and shampoo when directed.
• Clean and dust furniture, exhibit cases, pictures, chairs, door trim, light fixtures, and all other horizontal surfaces, including periodic high dusting.
• Wash windowsills and glass in interior doors, partitions, and specified windows.
• Wash glass and trim at entrance doors, and clean interior/exterior surfaces as appropriate.
• Clean bathrooms and restock paper supplies daily, following standard bathroom procedures.
• Monitor possible defects such as clogged urinals and lights out, documenting on checklist and reporting to supervisors.
• Collect building trash daily and place it in designated collection areas for removal.
• Replace liners in waste baskets and trash containers as per specifications.
• Sweep or shovel snow from steps and walkways at building entrances as directed.
• Perform periodic work such as high dusting, leather and wood surface polishing, and wall washing.
• Complete any and all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in basic cleaning responsibilities.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Ability to take direction and work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to function cooperatively as part of a team.
• Ability to use cleaning tools and equipment effectively.
• Experience using a portable vacuum cleaner, either back pack style or upright.
• Attention to detail and pride in delivering excellent service.
• Strong organizational skills and high levels of energy and endurance.
