The Part-Time Community Support Staff role at Premiere Behavioral Supports involves providing assistance to developmentally disabled adults in the South Jersey area. Responsibilities

• Provide support to developmentally disabled adults with interpersonal relationships, social interaction, and communication skills.
• Deliver one-on-one skill-building interventions for adults.
• Build rapport with clients with developmental disabilities.
• Complete all necessary documentation related to client support.
• Contribute to and implement community-based activities and programs.
• Communicate openly and without judgment with clients.
• Establish relationships based on shared responsibility and respect.
• Address the needs and concerns of clients facing internal and external barriers.
• Utilize practical problem-solving skills to suggest options and alternatives.
• Assist clients in setting goals for academic and personal success.
• Build self-esteem and motivation in clients.
• Complete all required training by the due date.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED or higher education degree.
• Six months of previous professional work experience with a person with a developmental disability.
• Valid driver's license in good standing (under 5 points).
• Valid car insurance.
• Pre-employment drug screening.

Nice-to-haves

• CPR/First Aid certification
• Experience in behavior management (1 year preferred)
