About the position

The Part-Time Coordinator II, Outreach-Title V Grant at Lone Star College-Montgomery is responsible for facilitating daily operations within the assigned area, focusing on enhancing the student experience. This role involves coordinating support functions such as scheduling, communications, and staff support, while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The coordinator will also analyze data and make recommendations for improvements, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the outreach programs.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily operations of assigned area.
  • Maintain records and current knowledge base of assigned area.
  • Act as a point of contact for internal and external customers.
  • Schedule and prioritize work and activities, organizing training materials for staff.
  • Create and submit reports related to assigned area and present findings.
  • Coordinate department and leadership calendars and schedules.
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate meetings, seminars, and events, including site selection and preparation.
  • Ensure compliance with local/state/federal regulations within assigned area.
  • Monitor and control resources such as office supplies and equipment.
  • Submit requisitions and review purchase requests according to budget.
  • Assist in creating evaluation methods for assigned area and analyze results.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or higher and at least 3 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish).
