About the position

The Part-Time Coordinator III, Online Compliance at Lone Star College is responsible for supporting the compliance operations of distance education. This role involves conducting research on relevant regulations, preparing necessary documentation for state and federal compliance, and acting as a liaison for internal and external stakeholders. The coordinator will oversee daily operations, maintain compliance documentation, and contribute to continuous program improvement.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily and long-term operations of assigned area.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge and acts as a Subject Matter Expert.
• Performs research relevant to area of specialty and presents findings.
• Enters, tracks, and maintains various data including documents and spreadsheets.
• Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Schedules and prioritizes work activities and develops compliance spreadsheets.
• Creates evaluation methods and analyzes results for program improvement.
• Coordinates department calendars and schedules meetings and events.
• Monitors resources and submits requisitions for office supplies and equipment.
• Manages or assists with the management of the department budget.
• Leads or participates in special projects as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience working in higher education or legal environment.
• Strong attention to accuracy and detail.
• Excellent knowledge of general office and software applications.
• Ability to prepare and analyze reports.
• Excellent organizational skills and strong multi-tasking abilities.
• High level of customer service and strong analytical skills.
