About the position

The Customer Assistance Representative Sr (CAR Sr) at Enterprise Mobility is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers, primarily in a face-to-face setting. This role involves supporting branch and rental needs, providing administrative support, and acting as a rental backup in a large home city branch or airport location. The CAR Sr will gain knowledge through local training and hands-on experience, ensuring a high level of service and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Take incoming calls for reservations, rate quotes, and general inquiries, providing information and resolutions for customers and vendors.
  • Manage outgoing calls for callback management and miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
  • Assist customers in assessing their rental needs both in person and over the phone, providing a high level of customer service.
  • Meet and greet customers in a friendly and timely manner, providing directions and general assistance.
  • Assess the condition of rental vehicles upon return and process returns, check-ins, and exit kiosk transactions.
  • Market the company effectively while picking up and dropping off customers, assisting them as needed.
  • Understand and communicate rental terms and conditions, vehicle features, and additional services.
  • Sell optional protection products, upgrades, fuel options, and other additional equipment as needed.
  • Notify management of any known vehicle problems and required maintenance.
  • Clean vehicle interiors and exteriors by hand or using washing equipment when necessary.
  • Perform various administrative and basic accounting functions, including research and billing support tasks, accounts receivables, and running miscellaneous reports.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have two years of college experience or at least two years of customer service experience.
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle is essential; a valid, unrestricted driver's license is required.
  • Must live within a reasonable commute of no more than 1 hour to the location(s) applied for within 30 days of the anticipated start date.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
