About the position

The Part-Time Customer Service Associate at The UPS Store is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to retail customers by processing packages for courier shipment and operating various office equipment. This role requires a friendly demeanor, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently while providing accurate information about products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Delivers outstanding customer service to walk-in customers and telephone inquiries
  • Continuously practices good listening skills with customers, UPS Store team members, and leadership
  • Maintains a clean, organized, and safe working environment
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Able to lift 50+ pounds
  • Communicates effectively with customers
  • Prompt, reliable, and responsible
  • Available to work weekdays and weekends.

Requirements

  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Previous retail sales experience
  • Strong computer and internet skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluent English & Spanish speaking is a plus
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
