About the position

The Customer Service & Certification Processing Coordinator at the Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification (CRCC) is responsible for managing customer interactions and processing certification applications. This part-time role requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle high call volumes while maintaining accurate records and supporting the certification team.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to verbal and written inquiries regarding application, certification renewal, and continuing education processes.
  • Route telephone calls to appropriate individuals and manage the CRCC general email inbox.
  • Review and approve exam certification applications and communicate information to applicants.
  • Coordinate requests for examination accommodations under the ADA.
  • Enter data in program software and maintain databases related to candidates and certificants.
  • Generate reports from the database to record application statistics.
  • Prepare files and documentation for review by staff or committees.
  • Attend committee meetings and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 3-5 years of work experience in a similar customer service role.
  • High degree of computer literacy and excellent data entry skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Adobe).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with association management.
  • Experience with association database (Netforum) is a plus.
