About the position

The Part Time Customer Service Representative role involves being the first point of contact for clients, providing reliable customer service, and managing various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, trustworthy, and capable of working with minimal supervision while ensuring a positive experience for clients.

Responsibilities

  • Interfacing with incoming client requests.
  • Scheduling customer appointments using scheduling software.
  • Creating service contracts and forms for jobs, and filing building permits as needed.
  • Managing phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages, etc.).
  • Creating and updating records and databases with personnel and other data.
  • Assisting colleagues whenever necessary.
  • Ordering, recording, and managing inventory.
  • Ensuring the shop is adequately stocked, clean, and visually appealing.
  • Handling customer complaints.
  • Communicating with the supervisor as needed and providing updates on essential business functions.

Requirements

  • Experience as an office administrator, assistant, manager, or relevant role.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, friendly and engaging with a hospitality mindset.
  • Excellent, energetic phone voice and clear English speaking skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Fluency in MS Office programs, QuickBooks, and PCs, with a willingness to learn dispatching software.
  • Ability to lift and carry 40lbs.

Nice-to-haves

  • Qualifications in secretarial studies.
