About the position

Burke Cleaners is seeking a part-time Customer Service representative to assist customers in a combination dry-cleaning and laundromat setting. The role involves interacting with customers, managing orders, and ensuring a positive experience while working flexible hours, primarily in the evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Wait on dry-cleaning customers by checking in and handing out orders through the computer.
• Complete dry-cleaning orders and organize them appropriately.
• Handle commercial and customer laundry tasks.
• Clean and maintain the laundromat area.
• Assist customers with inquiries and resolve issues as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Previous customer service experience is required.
• Basic computer skills are necessary.
• Experience with cash handling is required.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 10 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for at least four hours and bend as needed.
• Reliable transportation is essential.
