About the position

Nana's Playhouse is seeking a dedicated and caring Part-Time Teacher to foster a positive learning environment for young children. This role emphasizes the importance of early childhood education and requires a commitment to creating a safe and engaging atmosphere for children's growth and learning.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage with children in educational activities.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans.
• Promote social, emotional, and intellectual development in children.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress.
• Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed.
• Collaborate with fellow staff members to ensure a well-rounded educational experience.

Requirements

• CPR/First Aid certification (required).
• High School diploma or GED (required).
• Previous experience in childcare or early childhood education is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A passion for working with children and helping them develop.
