About the position

We are seeking a creative and tech-savvy individual to join our team as a Part-Time Digital Content Creator for Cooke Furniture. This role focuses on enhancing our digital presence by capturing and presenting our luxury furniture through high-quality photography and videography. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating visually appealing content that showcases our products, engages customers, and supports our digital marketing efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Capture high-resolution images of furniture pieces showcasing various angles, textures, and details.
  • Set up furniture in appealing compositions, possibly including home decor elements to provide context.
  • Use natural and artificial lighting to highlight the luxury and design of each piece.
  • Create engaging video content, including product walkthroughs, style guides, and customer testimonials.
  • Produce quick, informative clips for social media platforms like Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube shorts.
  • Edit photos and videos to ensure quality and brand consistency.
  • Upload and manage content on our e-commerce website, ensuring all product listings are visually rich and compelling.
  • Tag, categorize, and optimize images and videos for SEO purposes.
  • Assist in brainstorming and executing digital marketing campaigns that integrate the visual content produced.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align content with promotional activities and seasonal trends.
  • Engage with customers who share photos or stories about our furniture on social media.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in digital content creation with a focus on furniture or high-end products.
  • Experience in running digital marketing campaigns, with a portfolio to show impact.
  • Expertise in photography/videography equipment and software for editing (Adobe Suite proficiency preferred).
  • Strong understanding of SEO, social media algorithms, and digital marketing tools.
  • An innate sense of style, particularly in luxury interior design.
  • Ability to craft stories through visuals that resonate with our upscale target audience.
  • Experience with content marketing, email marketing, and customer journey mapping.
  • Ability to analyze data from marketing tools to refine strategies.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Ads, and social media advertising platforms.
  • Skills in 3D rendering or AR for creating interactive furniture experiences online.
