About the position

The Part Time Driver for Student Life at Penn State Mont Alto is responsible for transporting passengers to various locations, ensuring vehicle cleanliness, and providing excellent customer service. This role is part-time, requiring approximately 20 hours per week during the day shift, and involves operating a vehicle for local and out-of-state travel related to student activities.

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicle to transport passengers
• Perform general housekeeping duties to keep vehicles clean and habitable
• Read and record odometer readings
• Check general operation of vehicles, including fuel levels and tire pressure
• Provide customer service to passengers, including greeting and assisting with luggage
• Verify attendance of passengers
• Document last minute passenger changes
• Communicate with the Student Life Office regarding vehicle maintenance and passenger lists

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalency certificate (GED)
• Valid US driver's license
• Successful completion of a motor vehicle records check
• Completion of PA State Police Criminal Background Check
• Completion of PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form
• Completion of FBI Criminal Background Check
