About the position

As an entry-level lube technician at Valvoline Instant Oil Change (VIOC), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of our guests on the road by providing exceptional customer service and performing essential preventative maintenance services for vehicles. This position offers a comprehensive training program that equips you with the skills needed to perform various automotive tasks, including oil changes, fluid checks, tire rotations, and safety inspections, all while working in a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide top-tier customer service to guests.
• Perform preventative maintenance services including oil changes, fluid checks, and tire rotations.
• Test and replace batteries, inspect and replace lights and wipers.
• Conduct an 18-point safety check on vehicles.
• Work collaboratively with team members to deliver fast and trusted services.

Requirements

• Flexibility to work weekends.
• Eagerness to learn and a friendly attitude.
• Desire to be part of a customer-focused team.
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours, climb stairs, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• Mobility to crouch, bend, twist, and work with hands above head.
• Fluency in English for reading, writing, and speaking.
