About the position

The Part-Time Equipment Operator at our Distribution Center in La Vergne, Tennessee, plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient movement and handling of merchandise. This position involves operating various powered material handling equipment and adhering to safety and operational protocols to facilitate the distribution process.

Responsibilities

• Transport products throughout the distribution center.
• Operate powered material handling equipment including order picker, reach truck, pallet truck, and counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently.
• Stock new merchandise as it is received.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures including safety, cleanliness, and code of ethics.
• Follow all written departmental procedures and identify any necessary changes, reporting findings to the supervisor.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to operate powered industrial equipment
• Desire and ability to be certified (in-house) on all company power equipment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Consistent and reliable attendance

Nice-to-haves

• Previous DC and/or Internet Fulfillment experience preferred
