About The Position
The part time ESL / GED Instructor's primary focus will be to teach English as a Second Language. The instructor also will provide direct instruction to adult learners and will carry out other instructional duties and instruction support activities according to the provisions to the Alabama State Plan for Adult Education and Family Literacy and the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA). Instructor will be assigned to teach at varied times and locations based on student demand; day, evening, or weekend. This is a temporary, grant-funded and probationary status position. Continued employment is dependent on continued funding. This position will be based in Alexander City. SALARY: Local Salary Schedule - $19.30 - $26.70 per hour.
