About the position

The Part-Time Evening Forklift Operator at ACI Motor Freight, Inc. is responsible for safely loading and unloading freight using a forklift and pallet jack. This role requires adherence to safe lifting techniques and maintaining cleanliness in the dock area. The position is part-time, primarily during evening hours, and involves working with various types of freight transport vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight from 53 ft dry vans, containers, and straight trucks.
• Use safe lifting techniques while handling materials.
• Sort and handle freight efficiently during loading and unloading processes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dock and surrounding areas.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience operating a sit-down forklift.
• Experience with pallet jacks and handling hazardous shipments.
• Knowledge of safe lifting techniques.
