About the position

The part-time Event Marketing Coordinator will support the development and execution of cybersecurity conferences and regional events for Innovate Cybersecurity. This role involves event marketing promotion, community development, event planning, and administrative tasks, providing an excellent opportunity for hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the team to plan, organize, and execute national and regional cybersecurity events, focusing on marketing, sales, and promotional efforts.
  • Serve as an on-site coordinator during events, ensuring smooth execution of logistics and providing exceptional support to attendees and sponsors.
  • Manage event registration platforms and support attendee and sponsor communication, including email campaigns and follow-ups.
  • Assist in developing and executing marketing campaigns to engage the cybersecurity community, including digital content, social media content, and promotional emails.
  • Build and maintain relationships with event sponsors, vendors, and attendees through effective communication and outreach.
  • Research and identify potential sponsors, attendees, and marketing opportunities to expand event and community.
  • Conduct market research on venues, vendors, and collaboration opportunities to enhance event offerings.
  • Support the tracking and management of event budgets, vendor contracts, and marketing documentation.
  • Provide administrative support to the Marketing and Executive teams, including scheduling, responding to inquiries, organizing marketing content, coordinating shipments of materials, and managing event-related projects.
  • Assist with post-event marketing initiatives, such as distributing surveys, compiling feedback, and creating reports to evaluate event success and identify improvement areas.
