About the position
The Part-Time Faculty/Facilitator for Fire and Safety at Eastern Kentucky University is responsible for teaching and facilitating courses in the Fire and Safety Engineering Technology program. This role involves serving as the Instructor of Record for online and on-campus courses, catering to various majors related to fire protection and safety. The position is part-time and offers remote opportunities, with courses offered in 16 and 8 week terms.
Responsibilities
- Serve as Instructor of Record for online and on-campus courses in Fire and Safety Engineering Technology.
- Facilitate learning for students in various majors related to Fire Protection Administration, Fire, Arson, and Explosion Investigation, and Fire Protection and Safety Engineering Technology.
- Develop and deliver course content in accordance with university standards.
- Assess student performance and provide feedback to enhance learning outcomes.
Requirements
- Master's degree in a relevant field is required.
- Ph.D. or equivalent is preferred.
- Experience in teaching or facilitating courses in fire safety or related fields.
