About the position
The Part-Time Faculty position in Personal Enrichment & Wellness involves teaching leisure learning courses at San Jacinto College. This role is designed for individuals who can deliver course content effectively on a part-time basis, with classes potentially scheduled during evenings and weekends. The position is not a full-time role and does not come with the full benefits of regular employees, as part-time faculty are hired on an as-needed basis for specific courses.
Responsibilities
- Teach leisure learning related course work.
- Prepare course materials and lesson plans.
- Assess student performance and provide feedback.
- Maintain a positive learning environment.
- Attend faculty meetings as required.
Requirements
- Associates degree or higher in the required field.
- Three (3) years' work experience in a related teaching/instruction field.
