About the position

We are seeking a Bilingual (Spanish/English) Part-Time Family Law Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist the attorney in all stages of family law cases from inception to resolution. This role is crucial in ensuring that all legal processes are handled efficiently and effectively, providing support to both the attorney and clients throughout the legal journey. The paralegal will be responsible for conducting legal research on family law issues, drafting legal documents including pleadings, motions, and correspondence, and assisting in case preparation and management. Additionally, the paralegal will maintain attorney calendars and case files, communicate with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel, and organize and summarize financial records, depositions, and other case-related documents. The position offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced attorneys in a dynamic legal environment. The ideal candidate should possess strong writing skills for drafting and legal correspondence, excellent organizational skills to manage multiple cases simultaneously, and familiarity with litigation procedures and court filings.   • Familiarity with litigation procedures and court filings
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple cases simultaneously
