About the position

The Fulfillment Associate at Lowe's is responsible for delivering quality customer service while ensuring that the store is clean, safe, and stocked with necessary products. This part-time role involves assisting customers and delivery teams by preparing orders for pick-up, replenishing shelves, and loading merchandise into vehicles. The associate must engage with customers and staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products, while also adhering to safety protocols during the handling of merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality customer service while maintaining a clean and safe store environment.
• Respond quickly to customer and associate needs in a friendly and professional manner.
• Ensure merchandise is in good condition and accurately accounted for before delivery.
• Pull merchandise safely for loading onto delivery trucks and assist customers and staff in moving merchandise.
• Prepare orders for pick-up and replenish shelves for customers.
• Verify invoices against loaded products to ensure accuracy.
• Assist with loading merchandise, including large appliances, upon truck arrival.
• Engage in conversations with associates to ensure correct products are delivered on time.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction).
• 6 months of experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• 6 months experience using common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets.
• Ability to obtain sales-related licensure or registration as required by law.

Nice-to-haves

• 6 months retail experience.
• 6 months of experience in a customer service or product fulfillment position at a home improvement or hardware retailer.
• 6 months experience in inspecting, carrying, loading, and unloading products or materials in or out of vehicles.
