About the position

The Fulfillment Associate at Lowe's plays a crucial role in delivering quality customer service while ensuring the store is clean, safe, and well-stocked. This part-time position involves assisting customers and delivery teams by preparing orders for pick-up, replenishing shelves, and loading merchandise into vehicles. The associate must ensure that products are accurately pulled, inspected, and ready for delivery, while also maintaining safety standards during the handling of merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality customer service while maintaining a clean and safe store environment.
• Respond quickly to customer and associate needs in a friendly and professional manner.
• Ensure merchandise is in good condition and accurately accounted for.
• Pull merchandise safely for loading onto delivery trucks.
• Assist customers and staff in moving merchandise safely.
• Prepare orders prior to pick-up and replenish shelves for customers.
• Verify invoices against loaded products to ensure accuracy.
• Assist with loading merchandise, including large appliances, upon truck arrival.
• Engage in conversations with associates to ensure correct products are delivered on time.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction).
• 6 months of experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• 6 months experience using common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets.
• Ability to obtain sales-related licensure or registration as may be required by law.

Nice-to-haves

• 6 months retail experience.
• 6 months of experience in a customer service or product fulfillment position at a home improvement or hardware retailer.
• 6 months experience in any industry inspecting, carrying, loading, and unloading product or material in or out of vehicles.
