About the position
The Fulfillment Associate at Lowe's is responsible for delivering quality customer service while ensuring the store is clean, safe, and stocked. This role involves pulling and preparing merchandise for delivery, assisting customers and staff, and ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver quality customer service while maintaining a clean and safe store environment.
- Pull and prepare merchandise for delivery or pick up.
- Ensure merchandise is in good condition and accurately accounted for.
- Assist customers and staff in moving merchandise safely.
- Verify invoices against loaded products and ensure deliveries are ready upon truck arrival.
- Engage in conversations with associates to ensure correct products are delivered on time.
- Operate power equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks after certification.
Requirements
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction).
- 6 months of experience using a computer for data entry and information access.
- 6 months experience using common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets.
- Ability to obtain sales-related licensure or registration as required by law.
Nice-to-haves
- 6 months retail experience.
- 6 months of experience in a customer service or product fulfillment position at a home improvement or hardware retailer.
- 6 months experience inspecting, carrying, loading, and unloading products or materials.
