About the position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our fractional accounting, HR, and finance company on a part-time basis, with the potential to transition to full-time within 3-6 months. This remote position offers flexibility and the opportunity to work with diverse clients across various industries.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full cycle of accounting activities for multiple clients
  • Process accounts payable and receivable
  • Prepare bank reconciliations and financial statements
  • Maintain accurate general ledgers
  • Assist with sales tax preparation and filing
  • Perform light HR tasks, such as onboarding and benefits administration and keying time for payroll
  • Handle administrative duties for our company
  • Work on-site with clients as needed for specific engagements (in Central Arkansas)

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero)
  • Proficiency in M365 (especially Excel)
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for on-site client work

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in HR-related tasks, payroll and benefits administration
  • Familiarity with various industries and their specific accounting needs
