About the position

The University of Findlay is seeking a part-time Graphic Designer & Campus Photographer to assist in executing marketing communications plans that enhance the University's brand and strategic objectives. This role involves project management, graphic design for various platforms, and photography support, requiring collaboration with both student workers and full-time staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Executive Director of Marketing Communications and the Graphic Designer in executing marketing communications plans.
• Participate in project management and address campus requests for graphic design and photography.
• Create printed collateral materials and digital design needs.
• Serve as a backup photographer when necessary.
• Work with clients and outside vendors to produce projects from idea to completion.
• Support the marketing communications team in various efforts, including proofreading and crisis communication preparation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Portfolio of graphic design samples and photography.
• Experience in project management or as an account executive/liaison with clients.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong team orientation and ability to work effectively with others.

Nice-to-haves

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite Platforms.
• Experience working with student workers.
