About the position
The Part-Time Guide position at Parallel involves providing exceptional customer service and expert cannabis recommendations to patients and customers in retail locations. Guides are responsible for ensuring a welcoming environment, maintaining compliance with regulations, and supporting the patient intake process. This role requires flexibility in scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and emphasizes the importance of inclusivity and teamwork within the company.
Responsibilities
- Model best-in-class service that consistently exceeds customer expectations.
- Provide expert cannabis recommendations discussing therapy goals, product effects, potency, dosing, and methods of consumption.
- Participate in the patient intake process, entering and maintaining appropriate paperwork and patient records.
- Accurately receive, prepare, and complete patient orders and sales utilizing point-of-sale (POS).
- Maintain accurate records of all activities including customer records in accordance with State Regulations and HIPAA compliance.
- Escalate customer conflicts or complaints appropriately to inspire long-term patient relationships.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the store on a daily basis.
- Work in a hybrid guide role, assisting with deliveries based on business needs.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years or older.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid Government-Issued Photo ID required.
- 1 year of experience in Retail or a related industry where customer service is critical.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage difficult situations and resolve them in a timely and professional manner.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
