In terms of customer service, the employee will provide SMART customer service by executing Lowe's customer service policies and procedures. This includes seeking out customers to understand their needs, assisting them in locating and demonstrating products, and responding knowledgeably to inquiries. The employee will also coach and develop associates, process sales transactions using a cash register, and ensure proper monetary change is provided to front-end associates. Additionally, the employee will monitor the register area, inspect returned merchandise, and assist with online orders and price matching. The role also emphasizes maintaining a clean and safe store environment. This includes monitoring cash drawers, detecting signs of theft, ensuring compliance with housekeeping standards, and operating store equipment as needed. The employee will be accountable for other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall efficiency and safety of the store operations.
