Homefield Credit Union is currently seeking a part-time Human Resources Generalist to join our team in Grafton, MA. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of Human Resources regulations and practices, demonstrating the ability to effectively manage various HR functions. This role is essential in supporting our organizational goals by ensuring that our HR processes align with best practices and compliance requirements. The Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for a range of activities including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and benefits administration. In this position, you will play a key role in recruiting, screening, and interviewing qualified candidates for all open positions within the organization. You will prepare and extend employment offers, ensuring that the compensation offered is competitive and within the established hiring range for the job grade. Additionally, you will be responsible for onboarding new employees, processing changes in employee status, and conducting exit interviews to gather valuable feedback. The Human Resources Generalist will also coordinate employee relations activities, administer the performance planning and review program, and manage the organization's benefit programs, which include health and dental insurance, group life insurance, and 401K plans. Maintaining accurate records of employee training activities and administering the online training software will also be part of your responsibilities. It is crucial to ensure that all human resource programs and actions comply with organizational policies, relevant regulations, and state and federal employment laws. You will maintain all personnel files, records, and reports, and adhere to all Credit Union policies and procedures, embracing our Core Values and service delivery expectations. This position requires a proactive approach to HR management and the ability to adapt to changing organizational needs.
