About the position

As a Part Time Interior Designer at CBRE, you will manage project responsibilities for small to medium-sized design projects. This role involves overseeing project teams, developing design concepts, and ensuring that client needs are met through effective space planning and material selection. The position is part-time, requiring 20 hours of work per week.

Responsibilities

• Manage small project teams and supervise assignments of team members.
• Oversee the development of initial design phases, including client needs evaluation and space planning.
• Develop 2D and 3D design concepts and planning strategies.
• Select products, materials, and finishes, including specifications for furnishings and accessories.
• Assist with submittal reviews and RFIs during the construction administration phase.
• Apply standard principles with limited practical experience in design.
• Model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values and impact the quality of work.
• Work within standardized procedures to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
• Exchange straightforward information and confirm understanding.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with up to 3 years of relevant experience, or a combination of experience and education.
• Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
• Experience analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset.
• Authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship.
