The Part-Time Inventory Specialist role at Phyle Inventory Control Specialists (PICS) involves counting inventory for major retailers. The position is designed for motivated and reliable individuals who are customer service-oriented. While previous experience in the inventory service industry is preferred, it is not required. The job requires flexibility in scheduling, including early mornings, nights, and weekends, and involves some travel to inventory sites.
Responsibilities
- Count inventory for major retailers accurately and efficiently.
- Enter data into a handheld collection device and scanner.
- Travel to various inventory sites as required, with carpool options for distant locations.
- Commit to being on-site until job completion, which may require 4 to 8 hours of work.
- Maintain reliable communication and transportation to inventory sites.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Reliable transportation to inventory sites is required.
- Must have a reliable means of communication (phone).
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as kneeling, standing, and reaching to count merchandise.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous experience in the inventory service industry is preferred but not required.
