About the position

The Part Time IT & Maintenance Associate at Autism Spectrum Interventions Inc. is responsible for supporting the technology and maintenance needs of a rapidly growing clinical office. This role involves a combination of IT support, office maintenance, and communication with both staff and families, ensuring that the office operates efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Implement technology needs such as computer, video, audio, and television.
  • Mount televisions, video, and audio equipment and other technologies.
  • Access roof quarterly for AC filter replacement.
  • Install hardware items such as drapes and storage systems.
  • Build cubicles and other workstations.
  • Commute from work location to work location.
  • Run cables, wires, and similar technology equipment.
  • Clean up mess from job being worked on; vacuum and wipe down surfaces.
  • Upload office documents on cloud-based services like Dropbox.
  • Perform office maintenance tasks such as repairing office contents, door handles, and paper towel dispensers.
  • Patch, texture, and paint walls as needed.
  • Notify when supplies are needed to ensure the office is running efficiently.
  • Communicate with families using an empathetic tone.
  • Support clinical staff through effective communication.
  • Monitor events that are being recorded and convert/produce recorded events for posting to YouTube.
  • Update ASI's website and post social media content.
  • Update all combinations and codes, including door locks and lock boxes upon request.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation with proof of automotive insurance.
  • Basic computer skills and understanding of complex computer operations.
  • Entry-level experience in an office setting preferred.
  • Ability to lift, move, and carry objects weighing up to seventy-five (75) pounds.
  • Ability to sit at a desk for long periods and climb up and down stairs.
  • Motivation to learn new skills and work independently with little direction.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience in a clinical or professional office setting is preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous training or experience in office settings.
  • Experience with video surveillance systems and cloud computing systems.
