About the position

The Part Time Keyholder at Merrell is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming shopping environment. This role involves engaging with customers, managing store operations, and ensuring the store meets sales goals and operational standards. Keyholders also supervise sales associates and handle various store responsibilities, including cash management and inventory control.

Responsibilities

  • Provide superior customer service and create a pleasant shopping atmosphere.
  • Engage customers with knowledge about store products and policies.
  • Operate the point of sale register and accurately record transactions.
  • Handle cash, credit, and other forms of payment.
  • Detect theft and manage security risks.
  • Handle inventory, including moving boxes and items up to 40 lbs and climbing ladders.
  • Execute store opening and closing procedures.
  • Provide direction to Sales Associates.
  • Achieve sales goals and performance metrics.
  • Follow operational and presentation standards.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated retail sales success.
  • Minimum 6 months experience as a key holder, including opening and closing the store.
  • Flexible schedule and availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Passion for the brands and brand lifestyles.
