About the position

The Leasing Agent will be responsible for the day-to-day leasing and marketing operations of the assigned apartment community with the objective of consistently achieving the highest possible occupancy. This position is part-time, requiring 3.5 days a week (28 hours). The work schedule includes Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 08:30 am to 05:30 pm, and Saturdays from 10:00 am to 02:00 pm. Candidates are encouraged to provide their schedule availability in the application process. Key duties of the Leasing Agent include planning and implementing residential leasing promotions based on market research, tracking and accurately reporting sales leads and advertising efforts, and presenting apartments to potential tenants in a compelling manner. The Leasing Agent is expected to achieve the highest standards from phone and site shops, maintain compliance with all fair housing requirements, and ensure that the property’s curb appeal and vacancies are maintained to standard. Additionally, the Leasing Agent will be responsible for detailed management of screening tenants and leasing to excellent residents, ensuring that rents are received timely, managing daily deposits, and overseeing the rent roll. Coordination with maintenance for timely make-readies, inventory control, and answering resident inquiries are also part of the role. The Leasing Agent will play a crucial role in maintaining occupancy through resident retention and leasing, as well as managing prospects and creating traffic to the property through effective marketing efforts.
