About the position

The GameAbove College of Technology at Eastern Michigan University is seeking a part-time lecturer for the Business Management Marketing Technology Program. The role involves teaching an online asynchronous course in Advanced Spreadsheet Application (BMMT 213) starting in the Winter 2025 semester, with potential for additional courses based on availability. The lecturer will be responsible for engaging with students, assessing their work, and preparing course materials.

Responsibilities

• Teach an online asynchronous section of Advanced Spreadsheet Application—BMMT 213.
• Meet with students during and outside of assigned classes.
• Assess student work and performance.
• Prepare syllabi and course materials.
• Provide copies of syllabi and course materials to the supervisor on request.
• Assign and submit grades in accordance with established schedules.
• Perform related departmental duties as required.

Requirements

• Master of Science or Arts with a concentration in Business or a related area.
• Current professional experience in Microsoft Office 365 software, specifically in spreadsheet applications.

• Knowledge of business practices and uses of statistical data analysis using Excel.
• Ability to manipulate data for analysis, presentation, and collaboration.
