About the position

The University of Louisville's College of Business is seeking a Part-Time Lecturer (PTL) to teach undergraduate courses in Career Development. This role focuses on equipping students with essential skills for their professional journey, including resume preparation, interview techniques, networking, and job searching strategies. The position is temporary and part-time, aimed at fostering an inclusive and equitable learning environment for a diverse student body.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses in Career Development.
• Cover topics such as resume preparation, interview skills, networking skills, LinkedIn and social media presence, job searching, career decision-making, and building a professional image.
• Create an inclusive classroom environment that supports diverse student needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, communication, or marketing.
• Minimum of five years' work experience in a related field.
• HR or career-related certifications are a plus.
• Master's degree is strongly preferred.
