The Graphic Communication Department at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo is seeking applications for a pool of part-time lecturers for the academic year 2024-2025. This position is temporary and appointments are often made just prior to the start of the academic term, requiring applicants to be available on very short notice. The academic year begins on September 16, 2024, and positions will be filled based on departmental needs and available funding during the Fall, Winter, and/or Spring quarters. Initial rank and salary for lecturer faculty will be determined by the hiring department based on the candidate's professional experience and educational background. Most new lecturers are typically hired at the Lecturer A or B rank, with salary ranges as follows: Lecturer A: $5,007-$6,359; Lecturer B: $5,925-$12,594; Lecturer C: $6,500-$13,831; Lecturer D: $8,184-$14,487.
